Offering
I offer yoga practices tailored for those coping with cancer and treatment side effects throughout the cancer journey: before, during, and after treatment. I ensure that sessions are individually tailored to promote optimal well-being and healing. Sessions are 1-hour in length and incorporate movement, breathing exercises, and relaxation. No prior yoga experience is necessary.
This yoga offering is designed to support individuals at any stage of the cancer journey — before, during, or after treatment. Whether you're coping with fatigue, pain, anxiety, or simply seeking a gentle way to reconnect with your body, these sessions are created to meet you exactly where you are. Each practice is adapted to your unique needs and energy levels, with the goal of promoting healing, enhancing comfort, and restoring a sense of peace and strength. 💛
What to Expect
🌿 Personalized approach: Every session is customized based on your treatment stage, symptoms, and goals. No two sessions are alike — your body and experience guide the practice.
✨ Accessible practices: The 60-minute session incorporates gentle movement, breathing exercises, and guided relaxation. You do not need any prior yoga experience to benefit.
Supportive environment: Whether you're in active treatment or in recovery, this is a compassionate space where you can safely move, rest, and restore at your own pace.
Additional Notes
Sessions are appropriate for all levels and can be done seated, lying down, or standing, depending on your comfort. Modifications are always offered, and props or household items may be used for support. Practices may help reduce stress, improve sleep, ease side effects, and provide a sense of grounding through uncertainty.
Scientific Grounding
Yoga is supported by research for its ability to reduce treatment-related side effects such as fatigue, anxiety, and sleep disturbances. Oncology-informed yoga integrates these benefits with careful attention to safety, pacing, and emotional wellbeing — offering a whole-person approach to healing.
