Flowing River Qigong, Tai Chi, and Yoga

Marie Theriault is an oncology-trained Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) at the 500-hour level and a Certified Teacher Qigong and Tai Chi. She has thousands of hours of teaching experience and works with a diverse population of students, including seniors and cancer patients. Marie’s interest in assisting those facing health challenges began during her brother’s hospitalization for non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. Witnessing her brother’s journey opened her heart to the suffering that a cancer patient endures. She knew she wanted to use her training as a Yoga, Qigong, and Tai Chi teacher to bring comfort and peace to people whose lives have been touched by cancer. As a result, Marie’s business, Flowing River Qigong and Yoga was born. Marie is committed to providing her students with unique and mindful ways to exercise and manage stress to support a healthier way of living. She collaborates with individuals seeking a natural and research-based approach to healing that complements both traditional and alternative therapies. She believes that skillfully taught classes using safe and effective methods benefit all aspects of health, and she is passionate about helping people discover the many advantages of Yoga, Qigong, and Tai Chi practices.
