His background includes working with semi-professional athletes, older adults seeking to maintain strength and independence, and individuals living with Parkinson’s disease. After the passing of his mother in July 2019, Kareem’s focus shifted toward helping people recovering from cancer-related surgery and navigating treatment improve their strength, mobility, confidence, and quality of life. His professional development includes Working Through Cancer: Exercise as Part of Recovery, Chronic Inflammation Compromises Health & Wellness, osteoporosis, and Behavior Change Science. Kareem creates personalized exercise programs that meet each client where they are and support safe, sustainable progress throughout recovery and beyond.

Post-Op Cancer Exercise is a customized, one-on-one exercise program designed to support recovery and improve overall well-being after cancer and its treatment. Each 60-minute session is tailored to the individual’s unique needs and goals, addressing the physical and functional challenges that often arise during and after cancer treatment.

Clients should be able to stand, walk, and balance without the use of a walker, cane, or human assistance. For those unable to meet these requirements, exercises can be performed seated with proper spinal stabilization. A cushion for back support is welcome.

Clients must be able to stand, walk, and balance independently without the use of a walker, cane, or human assistance. If this is not possible, sitting with proper spinal stabilization is preferred (a cushion for back support is acceptable).
