The Fajardo Method of Holistic Biomechanics™ (FMHB) is a therapeutic system designed to gently regulate the body by engaging proprioception—the sense of spatial awareness—to inform the nervous system of the present moment. This process creates conditions for healing across physical, mental, and emotional systems. FMHB sessions support patients, caregivers, and thrivers seeking to return to balance after illness, injury, stress, or chronic dysregulation.

This 55-minute session works through sensory awareness, using stillness and simple, novel movement patterns to help the unconscious brain recalibrate the body’s systems. When practiced regularly, FMHB can help regulate:

  • Nervous and musculoskeletal systems.
  • Cardiovascular and respiratory systems.
  • Endocrine, digestive, immune, and lymphatic systems.

Benefits of FMHB sessions may include:

  • Support for acute or chronic health conditions.
  • Enhanced recovery pre- and post-operatively or during convalescence.
  • Relief for grief, anxiety, depression, or nervous system overwhelm.
  • Promotion of digestive function, circulation, and immune response.
  • Increased resilience, energy, and emotional flexibility.

FMHB helps shift the body from a sympathetic (fight-or-flight) state to a parasympathetic (rest-and-digest) mode, where healing, restoration, and regulation naturally occur. The sensory-based tools used in these sessions allow your nervous system to anchor in the present moment—enhancing adaptability, homeostasis, and inner stability.

Whether your body is calling for deep restoration or more active engagement, this practice is adaptable. Sessions can include gentle awareness-based positioning, subtle movement, or more vigorous biomechanical sequences, all tailored to your current needs. No two sessions are the same—your body’s wisdom leads the way.

Ideal for individuals experiencing medical treatment, recovery from cancer or surgery, chronic fatigue, burnout, or nervous system dysregulation, the Fajardo Method offers a grounded and holistic approach to healing and renewal.

Let your body rediscover its capacity to adapt, rest, and heal—one breath, one movement, one moment at a time.
