Compassionate Massage Therapy & Bodywork
Alassandra Marquez is a certified Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapist (CMLDT) trained in the Vodder method and a certified massage therapist (CMT) whose work is rooted in the connection between the body and mind. Her path into bodywork was shaped by her experience as a Survivor Advocate supporting individuals impacted by sexual assault and domestic violence, as well as personal loss from cancer, which led her to study the neurophysiological effects of trauma and holistic healing practices. Alassandra completed over 700 hours of training at Pacific College of Health and Sciences in San Diego and has pursued additional certifications through Klose Training, Full Circle Health & Wellness, and the Sound Healing Academy. Her work integrates a range of modalities including oncology massage, myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, acupressure, Thai, Swedish, deep tissue, Hawaiian lomi lomi, and vibrational sound therapy. She is also a preferred provider of Manual Lymphatic Drainage with the Society 4 Oncology Massage. Alassandra’s approach emphasizes creating a safe, supportive space to help individuals feel more at ease in their bodies while encouraging awareness, resilience, and overall well-being.

The sound healer will facilitate a sound bath informed by the frequency following response of the brain to meet the nervous system in a state of rest using gentle melodies, peaceful tempos, and natural tones. This sound bath uses various instruments to guide participants through a journey of grounding, meditation, and rest. Instruments may include crystal singing bowls, Tibetan singing bowls, tuning forks, chimes, steel tongue drum, ocean drum, and shakers. Instruments are played off of the body and will not be played closely or in personal space.
Extra time at the start and end of session to set intentions, practice grounding, and reflect on any shifts from the vibrations. In addition to sound therapy, clients may choose to engage in yoga mudras, qigong tapping, and/or vocal toning.
