Offering
Enjoy a Salt Session at Salt Mine Wellness Studio where we combine pharmaceutical-grade dry salt therapy with a relaxing, restorative environment designed to support easier breathing, clearer airways, healthier skin, and stress releif. Simply recline, breathe, and let the salt do the work.
Salt therapy involves breathing in microscopic salt particles in a controlled, humidity-free environment like a simulated salt cave.
Key Scientific Evidence-based Points:
-Mucus Clearance: Inhaled dry salt aerosol appears to draw water into the airways, thinning mucus and making coughs more productive.
-Anti-inflammatory & Antimicrobial: Some studies indicate that salt particles can help reduce airway swelling, lessen bronchial constriction, and decrease bacterial or fungal loads.
-Skin Conditions: Anecdotal reports and limited studies suggest its antibacterial properties may temporarily soothe inflammatory skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis, and acne.
What the Evidence Says:
-Respiratory Support: European clinical studies and trials have found positive effects in clearing airways for conditions like sinusitis, chronic bronchitis, and mild-to-moderate asthma.
-Current Medical Consensus: Major organizations like the American Lung Association note that while theories and some clinical trials suggest respiratory benefits, larger-scale studies are still needed to establish rigorous clinical guidelines.
-Safety: It is generally considered safe and relaxing for healthy individuals, though it should be avoided by those with specific conditions like severe high blood pressure, active infections, or cancer.
This is a 45-minute session. Dress comfortably and feel free to bring a book or journal.
Sometimes the healthiest thing you can do is pause and take a breath.
