Offering

Oncology Massage is a specialized form of massage therapy designed specifically for individuals living with cancer, undergoing treatment, recovering from treatment, or living as long-term survivors. Unlike traditional massage, every session is modified to safely accommodate the physical effects of chemotherapy, radiation, surgery, immunotherapy, medical devices, fatigue, neuropathy, lymphedema risk, and other treatment-related considerations. Each session begins with a discussion of your diagnosis, treatment history, current symptoms, and personal goals. Your therapist will adjust pressure, positioning, bolstering, and techniques based on your unique needs and how you are feeling that day. Research supports oncology massage as a complementary therapy that may help reduce anxiety, stress, pain, muscle tension, fatigue, nausea, and sleep disturbances while promoting relaxation and overall quality of life. Sessions are always client-centered, allowing you to communicate preferences and make changes at any time. Appointments are available in 30- 45- or 60-minute sessions. This service is appropriate for individuals in active treatment, post-surgical recovery, survivorship, and palliative care. Specialized training in oncology massage and lymphedema precautions ensures that every session is adapted to your current medical condition. Whether your goal is symptom management, stress reduction, or simply experiencing compassionate touch in a safe environment, oncology massage provides supportive care that recognizes you as a whole person—not just a diagnosis.
