Supporting Her, Supporting Him: Lindsey's Role as Caregiver

During a time that should be filled with excitement for the future and planning a life together with her fiance, Lindsey is faced with the devastating reality of Matt's recent Glioblastoma cancer diagnosis.  Lindsey has become Matt's full-time advocate and caregiver, and both are unable to work due to the severity of his disease and to meet the needs of his intensive treatment and rehabilitation schedule.

The stress and demands of caregiving take a toll on mental, physical, and financial well-being, and caregivers typically neglect their own needs while remaining steadfast to their loved one's healing journey.  It is for this reason I am moved to show support for Lindsey so she is able to take much needed time and care for herself.  Prevention is key, and caregivers are a vulnerable population.  Join me in raising Lindsey up so she may continue to do this most loving act of being a caregiver to the love of her life with all the focus and dedication she has poured into this role.
