Alchemizing My Wound to Wisdom: From Rupture to Radiance

For the past six months—and honestly, the past six years—I’ve been walking through what felt like an impossible wound: healing breast cancer. Not just physically, but emotionally, spiritually, and energetically. As a functional health practitioner who lived grain-free, sugar-free, supplement-stacked, and meditation-devoted, cancer felt like a betrayal at first. But eventually, I understood it wasn’t a punishment. It was a disruption. A sacred initiation that cracked me open to deeper truths: that healing isn’t just about what we eat or do, but what we believe, what we hold in, and how fiercely we love ourselves through the unknown. It's about consciousness. 

There were moments I didn’t know how I’d make it through—bleeding for 77 minutes in the shower as my tumor ruptured, praying with shaking hands. But from that wound came gold. Like kintsugi, I stopped hiding the cracks and started gilding them. And now that I’ve emerged on the other side with clear margins after a painful mastectomy, I feel called to share what I’ve learned about healing from love, not fear.
